MELLOW JOHNNY’S CLASSIC

THE RETURN

This Texas legendary XC event is back with a new crew, refreshed format, but same great trails at FCCR and of course Mellow Johnny’s! We’ll have amazing courses for all categories which have all been modified to resemble today’s racing divisions. In fact Tristan was out last Tuesday to choose the route and it is extraordinary. You wont find trails like these at most Texas venues. Read on for more info.

Which event should I sign up for?

Here are some brief descriptions of each event. Specific event details subject to change (like course design, race length, etc.).

XCC

Cross Country Short Track. The 'crit' of MTB racing. Mass start with laps typically under 1.0-2.0 km (0.6-1.2 miles) in length in less technical terrain, and a total race duration of 20-25 minutes. Spectator friendly and a great 'opener' for the longer XCO race the following day.

XCO

Cross Country Olympic. A mass start MTB race format held over undulating, mainly off-road circuits which riders must complete several times. The Flat Creek Crossing course is a former national track and is as tough as it is fun. Did someone say swimming hole to tunnel? We heard it too.

NO REFUNDS: TTP does not offer refunds under any circumstances.

We understand that unfortunate circumstances happen, but unfortunately we cannot offer refunds due to long-term planning and associative costs, along with administrative constraints involved for each event. Schedules change, injuries happen, and bikes break; that is all part of mountain biking.

There is affordable insurance you can purchase through Bikereg when you register and this is highly suggested.

If you would like to defer your race entry to a future event in the same series, please send us an email. There is a $25 processing fee to transfer your entry. We do not honor transfers from one year to the next.

Event Cancellation Refunds:

TTP always chooses the Bikereg provided insurance for event cancellation in case of weather, or other unforseen circumstances. If the event is cancelled and Bikereg does not cover the cost of the event, Trail Party will not be liable for refunds. The amount of resources that go into promoting and executing high caliber events are already spent by the time registration goes live. We would not be able to offer events if a similar situation to BME 2022 series happened to us. Remember, TTP is a family business and our goal is to be able to give riders the best events that are fun and create memories, not to take your money and buy a Lambo. We are racers and riders too.
